Operating Policies and Procedures

The Alamo Heights Independent School District utilizes operating policies and procedures to safeguard and maximize available resources. The administrative documents are posted in this location to both be a resource to district staff and to provide transparency to community stakeholders.

Purchasing Policies 

In order to maximize limited resources, AHISD follows policies and procedures when securing goods and services. These policies and procedures are governed by federal and state laws as well as local rules and regulations adopted by the AHISD Board of Trustees. This purchasing manual guides district staff in ensuring that procurements are conducted without conflicts of interest and using the best, most cost-efficient methods for the district.
