Health Screening Information:
Parents, Back to school is a busy time of year for everyone! We begin our screenings for height, weight vision, hearing and acanthosis in the clinics, early during the fall semester. The Texas Department of State and Health Services requires that we screen Pre-K, Kinder, 1st, 3rd, 5th & 7th grade students as well as any new students. We also screen any child that was retained and did not move forward to the aforementioned grades.  When a child fails two screenings, a referral letter will be sent home with the student. We are required to complete spinal screenings in the fall as well, and your campus nurse will send home notification prior to this screening. This applies to 5th & 7th grade girls and 8th grade boys. If you have any questions, please call your campus nurse. Thank you!

¡Muchas gracias!
