Credit by Examination (with prior instruction) is an option for students who have had previous formal instruction but who have not earned credit for one or more specific courses.
Registration form will be posted in August for the October administration.

Credit-by-Examination “with” Prior Instruction is administered for the purpose of credit recovery and
designed to address the needs of the following:
- The student is enrolling in the district from a non-accredited school,
- The student has failed a subject or course, or
- The student has earned a passing grade in a subject or course but has failed to earn credit due to excessive absences.
Credit by examination “with” prior instruction requires a score of at least 70 percent on the exam to earn credit.

2024-25 Credit by Exam Administrations (students must be available all day, unless otherwise noted)
Opportunity #1: Wednesday, October 9, 2024 at 1 pm (register by Friday, September 6, 2024)
Opportunity #2: Monday, February 10, 2025 (all day; register by Friday, January 10, 2025)
Opportunity #3: Friday, May 23, 2025 (all day; register by Friday, April 18, 2025)
Opportunity #4: Tuesday, July 29, 2025 (all day, register by Friday, June 20, 2025)
