The following strategies have proven to be effective with students and produced a higher level of learning. Many may be familiar to you through Marzano's work. However, just reading about a strategy is not preparaton enough. Talk to the teachers on your grade level, in your department, and in your school about strategies they have used. Find out what worked and what did not work.
Consider asking your administrators if you can observe other teachings implementing the strategy you want to learn about.
